Cozy Life
By cozy, I mean blessed and small. I’m a flip-flop wearing, peach tea sipping, small town grandma that loves Jesus, her family and the Kansas City Chiefs. I’ve kept a handwritten journal for years and I thought it was time for a digital version.

Nim's Favorite Reads
When I’m not reading or studying God’s Word, I love reading mysteries! A couple years ago, cozy mysteries captured my heart and I have several favorite series by favorite authors on my list.

Nim's Cozy Kitchen
I love to make food. When we bought our home, I wanted a large kitchen where I could make food and have family gather round. My hubby is from Kansas City, so BBQ is big around here. I bought my first smoker in 2018. Baking is also a passion and I love to bake everything from cookies to macarons and everything in between. Lately, I’ve been getting into bread baking.

Nim's Creative Corner
I’ve never been afraid to try new crafty things. My Mom and Grandmom taught me how to crochet and knit. Thanks to YouTube, I’ve learned how to make chain maille, screen print t-shirts, create vinyl decals for cars, make stencils for painted wall decor. Want a painted rock, brick or paver? I can do that. If it piques my interest, I throw myself into learning how to craft it myself. There are always 2-3 projects in process in my crafty corner.

Photography
Photography has been part of my life for 25 years photographing weddings, families, babies and grads. While I no longer offer my services to the public, I stay busy capturing milestones and moments for family and my church.

Churchtographer
Immediately after joining my church, I felt lead to offer my photography services. How is this different from my other galleries? God gets the glory. It’s never about me, it’s about how Jesus is working in our church and the lives of those who choose to accept His path. It is a blessing to capture the moment someone is baptized, coming up out of the water into a new life with Christ. It’s humbling to photograph church outreach events. To see how lives are touched by Jesus in our community. To God be the glory!

Gamer Since Pong
I’ve been a gamer since the bowling alley in my town got Space Invaders. Countless gaming systems and decades later, I’m still exploring realms. I played World of Warcraft for 20 years before leaving to make Guild Wars 2 my main MMOrpg online. At 60, I learned to play MtG Commander. Much to my husband’s surprise, I’m a blue deck kinda’ gal. As a family we love board game nights as well as D&D. Both my oldest son and my husband are experienced Dungeon Masters.
