I Won a Book on Goodreads!

Just the other day I got an email informing me I was a winner in one of the recent book giveaways on Goodreads. What’s even better is that it’s not a physical book but delivered to my Kindle. There is nothing wrong with physical books. I love them dearly but, my husband bought me a Kindle Paperwhite 8 years ago and I’m a digital reader convert.

The Nture of Secrets (Finley O’Sullivan Series #2) is sitting in my library just waiting for me to read and review it. Since it’s book two, I’m going to read her first book in the series The Last Lie Told and then jump into the book I won. It’s available through my Kindle Unlimited subscription and that makes me happy.

Book 3 is set to release in November of this year and if I enjoy the ones I have you can bet I’ll be reading the third installment. This will be the first time reading anything by Debra Webb and even though I was taking a break from the crime thrillers, I’m looking forward to reading these.

After that I’ll bounce back into my cozy mystery series as well as reading through the Agatha Christie novels. It’s a busy year for me with reading and I’m all for it! As a kid/teen my mom would literally yell my name as she stood next to me in order to get my attention. Once I start reading, I’m transported from this world to the world the author creates. These days it’s my husband that’s raising his voice in order to snap me out of a good story.
