Best Gift Ever!!
Jay and I are still on cloud nine. Our Kansas City Chiefs are the LIV Super Bowl Champions!! It’s been a long time coming. And it was an incredible game! It’s also great to wake up on Monday morning and finally hear sports broadcasters give our defense the credit and respect they deserve.

Jay has been a lifelong Chiefs fan because he’s a Kansas City, Kansas native. I’ve been a fan for 17 years. There have been brutal seasons and gut wrenching losses but our loyalty to the team never wavered. Chiefs Kingdom stays true. The 2019-2020 Chiefs brought the Lamar Hunt tropy and the Lombardi trophy home to Arrowhead. I tear up when I think about it.
Since last night we’ve been watching replays, highlights and interviews. I’ve been tweeting with fellow members of the Chiefs Kingdom and celebrating in spirit with each member of the team. It’s a great day. We also ordered two new jerseys, t-shirts, hats, a new flag and the the towel that the team was waving/wearing on the field after the win. It was a splurge but so worth it. The best part of it all was being surrounded by family. Living in south Jersey, we’re in Philadelphia Eagles territory. But our family team loyalties are diverse but last night Eagles, Cowboys, Packers, Giants and Colts fans came together to cheer for the Chiefs and Andy Reid. It was a hell of a game and we’re so glad we could celebrate it with the people we love the most.

Oh and it’s also my 58th birthday. The Chiefs Super Bowl win is the best gift EVER!! Now I’m going to go pass out and grab a couple hours of sleep!!@
