Finally finished the red, white and blue wreath and I love it. It's 180 rolled cardstock flowers on a 12-inch straw wreath. I chose straw over Styrofoam because it's natural. Styrofoam would have been easier to work with but eww, Styrofoam. Added a little ribbon hanger, hit the entire thing with glitter spray and a UV protectorant spray then hung it on the door.

Time to start a summer theme wreath and also apply a few tips and tricks I learned from paper artists on Instagram. The plan is to make summer, fall and Christmas wreaths with the straw forms. Then I'm switching to crepe paper flowers. Also feeling the urge to paint more bricks and rocks now that I've found the perfect combination of outdoor paint and resin coating. Weather is brutal on painted crafts and it's worse here because I live just 2/10 of a mile from a river. We get hellish winds and our yard gets a lot of sun throughout the day.

Finally settled on a WP theme for this blog and created a separate blog for my gaming adventures. Tried to move that to Tumblr then deleted it because I hated bouncing from one place to another. Keeping it here on WP might work out better. My brain tends to keep gaming life separate from life on this side of the monitor. It's a me thing.
Off to do more crafting! Have a wonderful weekend blogverse!
