The Kelce Brothers
Let me lay down a few facts before I launch into this post:
I grew up and reside outside of Philly. This means I’m in “Iggle” country. Personally, I just never got onboard with the Eagles. There was a time when I was married to a Cowboys fan. Yes, I died a little each season.
Over the years I followed Junior Seau’s career which made me a Chargers pseudo fan.
I met and married a man from Kansas City, Kansas. See where I’m going here?
I have been a fan of the Chiefs since 2002. Not because my husband is a fan but because I truly love the Chiefs organization as a whole.
Our home is a Chiefs home, but we support the Eagles when it doesn’t factor into our season. We’d love to see a Super Bowl meetup between Kansas City and Philly. That would be epic.
My favorite pair of NFL brothers is Jason and Travis Kelce. Jason (#62) is starting his 12th season as the center for the Philadelphia Eagles. Travis (#87) is a tight end in his 10th year with the Kansas City Chiefs. This is a win/win for me. Talented on and off the field, the brothers have stepped into the world of podcasts with the launch of a new YouTube channel and podcast series New Heights with Jason & Travis Kelce. The podcast is available on Spotify and Apple. I immediately subscribed to the YouTube channel and watched the episode. It didn’t disappoint and I’m looking forward to new episodes each week.
What makes it so great is not just the brotherly banter. These guys are well spoken and know football. They present it in a relaxed and insightful way. Yes, yes, I’m moving into the “gushing” phase, so I’ll quit now. One last thing and this is for Jason Kelce…
Super Bowl 54. Most EPIC.
Saying goodbye to summer is tough but the return of football always puts a smile on my face because there really are only two seasons:
FOOTBALL SEASON
WAITING FOR FOOTBALL SEASON
Peace,
B
