Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem

I'm a fan of picking up games when they're in early access on Steam. Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem is one of those games. I purchased it for $19.99 in May 2018 after seeing a YouTube video by Rhykker.

Rhykker has been my favorite YouTube content provider for my first ARPG, Diablo 3 so when he introduced the game on his channel I listened. I had about 10 hrs of gameplay invested before it launched last week so I was eager to jump back into it. It's a good time with World of Warcraft being at the end of an expansion awaiting the launch of a new expansion.

My husband is not a fan of paying for games in early access. Give him a completed game, and he'll consider playing it. Since he's rotating between World of Warcraft, Borderlands and Stardew Valley, he told me he wouldn't be buying the game. Especially since the price jumped to $39.99. His resolve faded as he listened to and watched me play.

So now we're leveling and adventuring together in Wolcen and I can't think of a better way to enjoy a game.
