Our magnolia tree is in full bloom and each year I photograph it along with the wild wisteria that grows during the summer months. When we got an alert for an incoming, severe thunderstorm, I grabbed the camera and took a few photos about 2 hours before sunset. The blooms survived the storm, but their looking bruised and battered so I'm glad I got the few images that I did. The tree blooms 2-3 times from spring 'til the end of summer.
